How long is the membership term?

The membership is calendar-based and lasts from January 1st - December 31st. Please note that memberships purchased after October 1st of the current year will be effective through December of the following year, but you will only receive the journals for the next full calendar year. At this time the AAFP does not prorate membership dues because you will still receive all of the calendar year back issues of the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery, as well as access to the other archived benefits. The AAFP does offer a 6 month discounted membership that is available for purchase from June - October. Members who purchase the discounted membership will receive 6 issues of the JFMS (July - December) and have access to all other veterinarians benefits.
