CatVets Content Administrator

Role

The CatVets Content Administrator is responsible for the posting, management and oversight of the website resources of the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Responsibilities

  1. Report to and receive direction from the Executive Board and PR/Membership Chair
  2. Attend Board meetings and strategic planning sessions
  3. Write and submit quarterly informatics reports
  4. Prepare an annual budget report and request of funds for the coming year
  5. Prepare interim budget updates as needed
  6. Maintain frequent contact with PMA Membership Director
  7. Work with Committee Liaisons to serve their goals for website content
  8. Collect and file “ideas” so that creative gems are not lost in the void of space and time and so that contributors are thanked and credit is attached.
  9. Be proficient at using the Content Management software tool provided by Makin Hey 
  10. Know and understand the directory “filing” system set up for the site in order to maintain our online materials in a logical and orderly fashion.
  11. Know and understand how the Database / Association Administration system –netFORUM on demand is integrated with the CatVets site.
  12. Manage Content Provider Accounts and access to the CatVets site.
  13. Ensure that a redundant back up copy of all digital files is maintained
  14. Make a 2 year commitment
  15. Recruit and train your replacement.
