Role

  • Entry level position for all committees
  • From this position a volunteer may move up in the ranks of any committee to a position of greater responsibility
  • A volunteer may remain active in website surveillance indefinitely

Responsibilities

  1. Become familiar with the structure and content on the entire website and then focus on the content relevant to your primary committee.
  2. Visit the website on a regular basis (frequency at the discretion of the committee chair; dependent upon how often that particular content area changes) view the content, test links
  3. Report to your committee Informatics liaison by email
  4. Indicate that all is well, or that problem(s) were found
  5. Identify specific problems
  6. Offer ideas for new content or improvement of current content.
  7. There can be as many Web Watch Cats as any given committee wants to employ. (or volunteers who are interested)
