Registration Type Descriptions
+ IN-PERSON REGISTRATION
Any veterinary professional can attend the in-person conference. You can read more about what is included with your registration in the Registration Brochure (pages 22-23). *PLEASE NOTE: All in-person attendees will also receive access to the virtual platform for the days they registered and all on-demand sessions. Unlike in the past where you had to choose which session to watch onsite since they are both being live-streamed, you can watch the one you missed afterwards on-demand. Live-streamed sessions will be posted on-demand three business days after they occur. Any attendee wishing to obtain CE credit for the on-demand sessions will need to take and pass a CE Quiz.
There will also be additional sessions available on-demand for attendees to watch at any time totaling 4 CE hours. To see all of the on-demand sessions, please refer to the On-demand Agenda (page 7). You can read more about what is included with your registration in the Registration Brochure (pages 21-23).
+ VIRTUAL REGISTRATION
Registration for the virtual conference will include live streaming of sessions from the in-person conference to the virtual platform for the full conference (Thursday to Sunday). Please note that additional sessions such as the Lunch & Learns, Workshops, etc. will not be live streamed. Please review the full agenda to see which sessions will be live-streamed. Denoted with a [LS] symbol.
Live-streamed sessions will be recorded and made available on-demand in the virtual platform three business days after they occur. Any attendee wishing to obtain CE credit for the on-demand sessions will need to take and pass a CE Quiz.

+ BUNDLE REGISTRATION
The AAFP is offering a BUNDLE option for those individuals who are not an AAFP Member and want to join as well as register for the conference at the member rate. Those who sign up for the Bundle option will receive membership starting in mid-September 2023 and it will run through December 31, 2024.
AAFP T-Shirt
For the first time ever, you can purchase the AAFP T-shirt during registration! Buy your T-shirt now instead of waiting to do it onsite in order to guarantee that you will have one to take home! The design of the T-shirt for this year is below. They are $20 each if you order during registration and $25 onsite and come in size Small - XXL.
Continuing Education Credits
RACE- In-person attendees can access up to 33 CE hours live in person and a total of 65.5 CE hours with both onsite sessions and on-demand access. In-person attendees can choose from 67 CE sessions (both in-person and on-demand) as well as other presentations.
- Virtual attendees can access up to 27.5 live-streamed CE hours and a total of 55.5 CE hours with both live-streaming and on-demand access.
The American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE committee has reviewed and approved the program referenced above as meeting the Standards adopted by the AAVSB.

NY State CE
The New York State Board of Veterinary Medicine has approved the AAFP as a sponsor of continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
IAABC
IAABC has approved 11 CEU's of the following sessions. IAABC Members who want to receive Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) need to email conference@catvets.com to receive the IAABC Event Certificate with CEU code(s) once the AAFP confirms that you attended or watched the session.

Cancellation Policy
Registration fees for virtual attendees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the live events, sessions will be recorded and available for viewing on-demand until May 31, 2024.
Cancellation of in-person registration will still allow you to have virtual access to live-streaming and/or on-demand access through May 31, 2024. For in-person attendees, cancellations received by Friday, September 15, 2023, will receive a refund of the difference between the in-person and virtual rates. In-person registration cancellations received after Friday, September 15, 2023, will not be eligible for refunds. Please note if you cancel your conference registration, it does not constitute cancellation of your hotel reservation

Yoga Waiver
In order to attend one or all of the in-person Yoga classes, you must submit a waiver to participate. If you registered for a Yoga class or plan to, please view and submit the waiver.
